MOVEMENT | Aug 10-Sep 28 | Works Announced
Stephen Sumrall-Orsak and Suzanne Truex have finalized the work to be included in our MOVEMENT exhibition, which opens on August 10th with a gallery reception scheduled for August 15th.
The selected works combine forms and color relationships to create a sense of visual energy, vibration, or movement. Shape and form suggest twisting, falling, tumbling, or dancing. Meanwhile, color manipulates the forms within. Color contrasts deliver potent visual jolts while subtle color relationships soothe and harmonize.
Movement encourages the viewer to consider how stationary visual relationships can culminate into perceived movement and felt energy.
